I’ve said it on more than one occasion and I don’t mind repeating it. Not everyone should start a business. Starting a business is neither pretty nor easy most of the time. If you do it despite this, it’s because you need it because it’s in your genes. “Normal” people are right not to start their own business. It’s much easier to make a living working for someone else. And there’s nothing wrong with that at all. Everyone should go their own way, independent of what the latest trend on TikTok says.
Even though there is more reality and transparency in the world of entrepreneurship, there are still many things that are not talked about or, let’s say, talked about too little.
Lack of knowledge and experience
One of those things. It happens to me a lot because starting a business is about taking new paths. Obviously you would never admit that because the person who starts their own business has things very clear and is an expert in what they do. I left the world of training because it bothered me to give that impression of knowing everything. Although I’m not saying that everyone who gives training wants to give that impression, but sometimes I have that perception. I understand that you may like people to admire you for what they think you are. Sometimes oman whatsapp number data we pretend to be more than we are. I pretended to be a successful entrepreneur. There came a time when I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror and I had to leave that world behind. That “debt” that I have created with myself of giving the impression of being something that I am not is what pushes me every morning to put my account back to zero again. I still have a long way to go. I hope so!
Doubts and low motivation
No, I don’t wake up every day full of what is black hat seo? energy and motivation. There are days when I don’t feel like going to the office. But you know what? I still go every day and 99% of the time I forget about it. Entrepreneurship is not motivation or discipline, it’s more about your path that you have to follow. This is mine and I follow it with pleasure. Sometimes I suffer but that makes the sunny days even more enjoyable. That’s what I recently told my children. The holidays without school are not special. They are just another day. You need the bad to see the good.
Debts
In my case, it’s already seven figures. I’m line data risking everything. With the flats and my businesses. I don’t pay myself a single salary to reinvest everything in the business. It’s not a complaint, it’s a choice. I think it’s the best way to grow the company right now and be able to pay my team the maximum amount of money possible. On the one hand because they deserve it, but also so that new options they will have in the future will be less and less interesting. We have to run so that we all earn more tomorrow.
They don’t have to be seven figures like in my case. Those are “good” debts, I’d like to call them. Worse are those with relatives who have lent you money to keep going. In my case there were those too. Luckily I was able to leave those debts behind a long time ago.
Fear
Fortunately, fear doesn’t paralyze me. It makes me respect what can happen. Having to start from scratch because I could lose everything is a real scenario. It makes me more vigilant. It pushes me when I don’t feel like it because I have created a scenario where neither motivation nor discipline are the main driving forces.
These are things that most entrepreneurs don’t tell you. Instead of telling you that, they tell you that if you work harder, everything is possible. That you can also achieve all the brilliant things they have achieved. They may be wrong because that is not your path.
