I will tell you about studying at the UPROCK school from the perspective of an experienced designer. Consider this an honest objective review or just a story . The course is large, 16 sections. That is why the article had to be divided into two parts of 8 sprints. And even in this case, it turns out to be a lot of letters.
I didn’t write it all at once, but step by step as I went through the course. I’m telling you about my impressions, expectations, fears, etc. You’ll draw your own conclusions, they’re not small.
I tried to avoid spoilers for future students. Enjoy reading
About a year ago, I came across a webinar by Zhenya Kuzmin ( UPROCK school ). At that time, he was publishing the second case on Behance, made by his student as part of the school.
At the same time, the case that he published at that webinar was different from those that I was doing at that time.
Even then, I emphasized to myself that the speaker and I think very similarly. I, like him, pay great attention to the convenience of websites, I like ecuador phone number library minimalism. At the webinar, he said many more things that I thought exactly the same. Many of the working moments that he talked about also coincided. I immediately wanted to meet and talk, which happens to me very rarely.
In the design of my projects, I was moving in exactly the same direction, but I understood that I was missing something. It seems like I was looking at the same references, it seems like I haven’t used the Bootstrap grid for a long time, and the sites turn out neat and convenient.
But our works were different
And also, I am bad at presenting my finished cases, so I didn’t even dream of awards on Behance. But with them (Uprock), in the future, I managed to take ribbons with enviable consistency.
I had a clear feeling that in my many years of dark mode: trend or necessity? pros and cons of dark mode in interfaces experience there were missing puzzles that I was missing. Both in terms of visuals and in terms of case structure. In general, I immediately thought about going to the UPROСK school.
But…
My first thought was different. School cost a lot of money. At that time, it was my monthly income. And I have a teenage daughter, family obligations and the lack of the necessary financial cushion. And since I have a decent experience in web design, and Zhenya began kuwait data to conduct webinars with explanations quite often, then why not save money and gain the missing knowledge by simply watching free live broadcasts, I thought
