I continue the story about studying at UpRock school… It will be hot . Everything you read is purely subjective. I write as it is. This part is mostly about sore points. I tried, as in the first part, to state everything based on facts. Well, and a little emotion)
Sprint 8 was accepted without any problems the first time. Let me remind you that I sent a link to the landing page layout (desktop) made in Tilda and asked permission not to finish the adaptive version, since I definitely won’t need designers in the future.
By the way, by the time the site was checked, the adaptive for one breakpoint was already ready. My colleague and I started doing it in case the work was not accepted and they told us to finish it completely. We didn’t want to waste time and decided to start doing it. But it turned out to be in vain. It wasn’t needed.
The curator’s comment made me smile
“You don’t have to finish it any further. The main thing is that you understood the basic principle of working with constructors…”
Yeah, I get it 🙂 Never mind that I knew about Tilda Pablishing 6 years ago, when it first appeared. And I compared it to Adobe Muse, which appeared two years before Tilda (if anyone still remembers it). Damn, how quickly time flies
Here again, there was a lack of division of homework by the level of preparation of students. I would like to see right away in the description of the task why we need this. Who should do the task in full, and who can show only part, just to demonstrate their skills.
I wrote this and now I feel like I’m denmark phone number library being picky. I understand that you can’t adapt to all students. And in the end, they made an exception for me, so that decision is valid.
By the way, back then, in the distant “two thousand shaggy year”, I liked Tilda. But that was a long time ago. And when I went to Tilda now, I was shocked. It takes a week to figure out the tariffs alone 🙂
But you won’t know about the limitations until you encounter them when performing a specific task. The tools are the same as in any other constructor. Everything is immediately clear, although not everything is convenient.
For beginners who are just entering the profession
Don’t know html/css, don’t have a layout designer on their team, and don’t have a team at all – this is of course a very important sprint . And the guys are trying. I saw some of their work and even felt a little ashamed that we, together with a developer, made diary of training at uprock school (part 3) a very modest landing page, without bells and whistles and beautiful animations. And we didn’t even finish the mobile version.Addition from 10/7/20 Now this sprint is optional at school. Probably other guys also expressed dissatisfaction about the waste of time. And I kuwait data was not the only one who did not need to study Tilda as part of the design course. In general, this sprint is now optional. They listened to the feedback, well done.
